    Hey Toy and Company,

As you know I have been over to Guam supporting work on the USS Frank Cable for PSNS/IMF on numerous trips (1997, 2000, 2004 & 2007). I have always enjoyed myself and enjoyed the companay and friendship Toy and her workers have provided at Toy’s Tavern. In my mind this is a Low Key and yet very Fun Tavern with Classy people that share the best Guam has to offer!

They don’t come any better and I look forward to my next visit to catch up on all the latest heppenings in Guam and the Island Life.. (Toy if you get a chance please drop me a line at [email protected] so we can chit chat about Life and catch up….)

If I get back to Gaum (hopefully soon) “Toy’s” is my first stop as I Love the People, the workers and the friendship provided (that I have always received) and the caring shared and entertainment when many miles away from home!

Love you guys and Miss You!

    Sincerely

    Fred Chichester

Toy is Thai. Toy’s is frequented by many military and American civilians. The resident Ordies have claimed it as their own, so if you are in the ordnance field and don’t stop in to be de-virginized, you are missing out on a major milestone in your career! 😉
Toy’s bartenders are always very hot and very friendly. It’s a great place to have a party, just talk to Toy or Eddie a few days in advance, and they can put together a terriffic spread of Thai and American/BBQ for you at a very reasonable price.
The drink prices are among the lowest in town, and the beer is the absolute coldest on the island, thanks to a new bevvie fridge.
They open early (2pm most days) and stay open late (4am weekends and 2am weekdays).

Toys Tavern is more of a regular’s bar. You don’t go there because the place is really beautiful, or the drinks are amazingly cheap. You go here because the workers are really cool, and the owner is one of the coolest people in town.

You’re going to get a lot of regular customers here, and the crowd is usually military or white people who work on Guam. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a racist bar or anything, it’s just that the music and the type of people that go there are more of the rock ‘n roll white crowd. It’s a hip spot if you like that sort of thing.

This place has a really fun atmosphere. The owner is Vietnamese, and she is very social. The crowd is mixed military & local, and everyone seems to know each other.

    Nice vibe, nice Guam hangout.
